The day of the Christmas holidays was also the last day for Mr Hicks.
Having attended the school as a pupil himself, the school called him back to educate boys of the Rosscarbery parish.
With lockdown, the day had to be pared back, with all pupils putting on a play virtually for Mr. Hicks and a presentation on behalf of the parents being made to the principal by the pupils.
